What do you have to be scared of?

Someone once said, “You are a ghost, driving a meat skeleton made of stardust, what do you have to be scared of?”

I have to constantly remind myself that fear stands for FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL.

I regularly have to face it. And when I do, I find that I re-invent myself!

When I faced my fear I discovered that I can write very well.

I can make sense of what others want to say and reword it in such a way that they go, “Yes! That is what I wanted to say, but did not know how!”

Others said, “You have the ability to say what I feel.”

I have helped others express what they wanted to say.

You know how you feel when people say, “You have to get more content on your website.” Do you promptly proceed to write some content and then look at the empty screen wondering what you should say?

I always have something to say! When I don’t know what to say, I research what to say. That is what my clients like about me. They give me a topic and I write their content for them.

I could do the same for you.

Author of books

One of the fears that I faced was one of publishing books.

Die Eerste 1000 Dae van Migrasie was the fruit of a collaboration with a friend and we were privileged to share the stories of other South Africans who immigrated to Australia.

Net Genade is my book of poetry.

Besige Bytjie is a children’s book teaching kids about asking for help.

After facing all my fears who is Marlize Venter?

I am a writer, an immigrant to Australia, a mother, a homeschooling parent, a partner, a friend, a small business owner, a know-it-all and I can speak Afrikaans!
